Balçık Brazing runs the protective-atmosphere processes that braze, anneal and coat our own heating elements, and offers the same processes as a service to other manufacturers.

The processes were introduced in 2007 for brazing fittings onto heating elements; since 2008 they have also run third-party parts. Your parts are processed with the same parameters, checks and lot tracking as ours.

  • Furnace brazing: copper, nickel and silver fillers – flux-free, in a reducing atmosphere.
  • Bright annealing: stainless and steel parts in hydrogen or nitrogen – bright, no pickling.
  • Nickel diffusion coating: corrosion protection at the surface of stainless and steel parts.

How a service job runs

Trial first. Then the same cycle, every lot.

  1. Parts and drawing

    Material, joint or surface requirement, quantities and target dates.

  2. Trial batch

    Temperature, line speed and atmosphere set for your part.

  3. Approval

    Trial parts and results go to you for release.

  4. Series

    The approved cycle runs every lot, with heat-lot tracking.

  5. Return

    Checked, packed and shipped back with the lot documents.

One plant, three specialisations.

Balçık Brazing is a division of Balçık Isı Elemanları – heating elements and stem thermostats since 1959, around 400 people on a 30,000 m² site in Kahramankazan, Ankara.

Quality management, certificates, purchasing and logistics are shared across the plant. Welded stainless tube and tube parts come from Balçık Tube next door.
